THEN RELATE NEEDS YOU Relate Counsellors are men and women who work with people to help them manage and resolve their relationship problems. YOU GET - Top quality training in the UK, spread over two years, which is fully funded by Relate, plus new self-awareness and skills that you can also use at work and at home, along with the satisfaction of helping people experiencing relationship difficulties. YOU GIVE - Your time, compassion, understanding and expertise to the people that you meet and work with. We need a minimum commitment of three hours a week client contact, plus additional time for training and supervision, which amounts to approximately 7 hours per week. Relate is now offering a new training course called 'University Advanced Diploma: Introduction to Couple Counselling'. Prospective candidates should initially check with Relate Jersey that there are training placements available. They can then apply to Relate Central Office. Candidates whose applications pass this screening will be invited to attend a one-day selection conference at Relate National.Successful candidates will be offered a place on the Graduate Certificate subject to a 50 hour training placement being available, offered and accepted at Relate Jersey.
